Jason Christopher - Joseph

Beautiful is Jason's second time working with Director and Writer Britt Penrod. Previously, he was cast in Mr. Penrod's first film The Band. Mr. Christopher began his work as an actor when he was only a child. Since then he has worked in film, stage, television and radio. He studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and appeared in several theatrical productions in the city. Since relocating to Hollywood he has remained a true fan of the stage, while still finding room to explore cinema and television. In 2000, Mr. Christopher made his film debut in the French horror film Promenons-nous dans les bois (domestically, Deep in the Woods), while television credits have included The Wonder Years, Tales from the Crypt and Xena: Warrior Princess.
Lisa Natale - The Neighbor
Lisa Natale, in a departure from the harder characters she has played in the past, embodies in Beautiful, the more simple, artistic, funky and sometimes quirky traits that make this character really shine. A great leap from her humble debut at the tender age of 8 in the after school theater production of "Three Billy Goat's Gruff" she moves ever onward, determined to find her place in this world. A mother of two, she is no stranger to balance, sacrifice and hard work as evidenced by her upcoming one woman show Mi Vida Lisa. Having studied in Arizona, New York and Los Angeles, Lisa is determined to hone her craft and make an audience hear what she hears, see what she sees and feel what she feels. Chances are, you will.
Patrick Omeirs - The Father
Mr. Omeirs adds Beautiful to an already extensive list of career accomplishments stretching back many decades. He is not only an actor, appearing on Television in both series TV and commercials, but he was a boxing double for Robert DeNiro in Raging Bull, is a stunt man, a fight choreographer, a fencing coach and has done just about everything a performer can do on a stage or screen. Adding the subtlety nuances of a mentally abusive, but loving, father to his list of abilities, this was Mr. Omeirs first movie with Writer/Director Britt Penrod.
Britt Penrod - Writer/Director
Beautiful marks Mr. Penrod's second exploration of short filmmaking, the first being The Band on which he worked with Beautiful's Jason Christopher. Upon sitting down to write the screenplay for Beautiful, Penrod's main interest was in crafting a tale that would make it's audience feel something positive. With the completion of Beautiful, he has created a film that does just that. He is currently developing a feature length project.
